Kansas, located in the center of the United States, is one of the great places to find a truck driving job.  Before you can get a job as a tractor trailer driver, you must have a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL). 

So, how do you get a Class A commercial driver's license? It is relatively easy to get started once you know what you need to bring and do:

    1) A regular driver's license, issued by the state of Kansas DMV
    2) A good, clean driving record
    3) Pass a drug test and a physical exam
    4)The ability to pass a CDL written exam, a pre-trip inspection, and a road test.
